Global beer consumption ranking

According to Japanese media reports, Kirin Beer, a Japanese beer manufacturer, recently released data. In 2013, global beer consumption increased by 0.5% from the previous year to 188.81 billion liters, a continuous increase for 28 years.

Among them, China's beer consumption increased by 4.8% from the previous year to 46.31 billion liters, ranking first in 11 consecutive years, accounting for 24.5% of the total global consumption. The United States and Brazil are ranked second and third respectively, and Japan is ranked seventh, which is the same as the previous year, and consumption decreased by 1.0% to 5.49 billion liters.

Among the annual per capita consumption of countries, the Czech Republic topped the list with 147 liters for 21 consecutive years. Japan slightly decreased to 43 liters last year, ranking 52nd.
