Temperature and humidity and ventilation regulation during hatching

1, ventilation

During the entire development process, the embryos must continuously exchange gas with the outside world. Ventilation can provide the oxygen needed for embryonic development, discharge carbon dioxide, make the temperature inside the incubator uniform, disperse the waste heat, and open the damper ventilation according to the principle of “small before the big”. The practice is 1 day ~ 3 days "off", 4 days ~ 12 days "small", 13 days ~ 17 days "middle", 18 days later opened to "maximum" until the end, but the early ventilation is large, and will not Increasing the hatching rate will only waste energy.

2, temperature

Temperature is an important factor for hatching. In actual production, there are two kinds of temperature programs: constant temperature and variable temperature. Constant temperature 1 day ~ 19 days 37.8 °C, 20 days ~ 21 days 36.5 °C ~ 37.2 °C; variable temperature incubation using high temperature after the former low, such as 1 day ~ 4 days 38.2 °C, 5 days ~ 7 days 38.0 °C, 8 days to 12 days 37.8°C, 13 days to 15 days 37.6°C, 16 days to 19 days 37.4°C, 20 days to 21 days 36.5°C to 37.2°C. The difference between the two methods is that the cooling method must be the entire batch of incubation time, in line with the requirements of the eggs before and after the temperature is high. The constant temperature method is suitable for batch hatching of roadway incubators and box machines, which can save electricity. For pre-producing eggs, the hatching temperature should be 0.15°C higher or 6 hours to 8 hours ahead of time. From 20 days to 21 days at 37°C, mid-laying eggs (35 weeks to 50 weeks) have excellent physicochemical properties, hatching 37.8°C, hatching 36.5°C~37.1°C, incubation time of exactly 21 days, and late egg production (50 weeks). In the future, try to reduce the storage time, and incubate 4 to 6 hours in advance. The incubation temperature is 0.1°C lower and the hatching time is about 37.2°C. Whether the temperature is suitable can be checked by "seeing the fetal temperature."

3, humidity

The appropriate humidity makes the embryo evenly heated in the early stage, and it uses heat dissipation and clam shell hatching later. In general, the incubator humidity is 50% to 60%, and the hatcher humidity is 65% to 75%. 1 to 19 days for pre-laying eggs to reduce hatching humidity to 3% to 5%, humidity for 20 days to 21 days to 70%; mid-stage egg production with normal humidity; 1 to 19 days post-lay egg production ~5%, 20 to 21 days, the hatching humidity is 65% to 70%. Check whether the humidity is appropriate, and measure the weight loss of the breeding eggs during the hatching process from 11% to 13.5%.

Cooling Agent

Cooling Agent, is a general term for all the chemicals that can produce cooling effects and are not strong. The most common Cooling Agent is menthol (especially L-menthol), but it should not be used in large quantities due to its strong odor and strong irritation to the skin, mucous tissue, and eyes. Therefore, many scientists have synthesized and extracted a new generation of cooling agent.
