Abstract : Good thermal adhesion performance is an important guarantee to ensure that the soft plastic packaging does not break the bag during the filling process, and it affects the sealing of the finished packaging and the impact resistance of the sealing. In this paper, a new method for testing the hot-adhesive properties of a plastic composite film for liquid food packaging is introduced. The test method, test principle and test equipment i-Thermotek 2400 are heat-sealed and heat-bonded. The introduction of the parameters and scope of the performance tester provides a reference for the company to monitor the thermal viscosity of the package.

1 , meaning
Liquid foods in soft plastic packaging are often packaged by heat-sealing bags and filling processes. When the heat sealing of the package is not completely cooled, the liquid food is filled into the package and the heat sealing is generated. The impact of the impact. When the heat sealing edge is not completely cooled, the bonding of the two heat sealing layers is not very fast, that is, the hot adhesive strength is low, and if the hot adhesive strength is difficult to bear the impact of the filling product on the heat sealing edge, the soft plastic packaging The heat sealing edge will be destroyed, and even the bag will be broken. Even if the bag is not broken at the production site, the damaged heat sealing edge will weaken the sealing performance of the finished packaging and the impact resistance of the heat sealing edge. During storage and distribution, it is very likely that there will be a problem of slow air leakage at the heat sealing edge or being squeezed by an external force to break the bag. The thermal adhesive strength of the soft plastic packaging is related to the heat sealing layer material and the heat sealing parameters. Therefore, the hot adhesive strength of the soft plastic packaging can be satisfied by selecting appropriate heat sealing materials and setting appropriate heat sealing parameters.

2 , test samples
In this paper, a plastic composite film for liquid food packaging is used as a test sample.
3 , the test basis
At present, the domestic standards for hot-melt performance testing of soft plastic packaging are about to be released. This test is based on the American standard ASTM F1921 .
4 , test equipment
In this test, the i-Thermotek 2400 heat seal and hot tack performance tester independently developed by Jinan Languang Electromechanical Technology Co., Ltd. was used as the test equipment.

4.1 Test principle
By setting a series of heat sealing parameters, the hot tack strength of the samples under different heat sealing parameters is tested, and the heat sealing parameters of the samples are obtained. For the hot-adhesive strength test, it should be ensured that the test of the heat-sealing strength is completed when the heat-sealed portion has not been cooled. The heat-sealing process and strength test of the device are integrated, and the strength test can be performed after the heat-sealing is completed. During the test, the two ends of the sample are clamped on the left and right fixtures of the device, and the sample is pulled between the two heat seals. After heat sealing, the sample is separated under the drag of the left and right clamps, and the heat seal is separated. The generated force value is detected by a force value sensor disposed on the right jig to obtain a hot tack strength value of the sample.
4.2 Scope of application
(1) This equipment is suitable for testing the heat sealing performance, hot tack performance and heat seal strength of various plastic film, paper-plastic composite film, aluminized film, aluminum foil, aluminum foil composite film and other film materials.
(2) This equipment meets many standards such as ASTM F1921 , ASTM F2029 , ASTMF88 , QB/T2358 (ZBY 28004) , YBB 00122003 .
4.3 Equipment parameters
The heat sealing performance and hot tack performance are controlled from room temperature to 250 °C , temperature control resolution is ± 0.1 °C , temperature control accuracy of heat seal performance is ± 2 °C , and temperature control accuracy of hot tack performance is ± 1 °C. The control range of heat sealing pressure is 0.05MPa ~ 0.7MPa ; the heat sealing time setting range is ≤ 99.9s ; the load range of strength test is 0 ~ 50N , the precision is 1 level, the resolution is 0.1N ; heat sealing strength The test test speed is 200mm/min , 250mm/min , 300mm/min ; the upper and lower heat seal heads can be independently controlled; the manual and pedal test start mode and anti-scald design ensure the user's convenience and safety.
5 , the test process
(1) Cut a sample with a width of 15 mm and a length of at least 25 mm along the longitudinal direction of the sample to be tested .
(2) Set the heat sealing temperature, heat sealing pressure, heat sealing time, and select the hot viscosity performance and test method options.
(3) After reaching the set heat sealing temperature, clamp the sample on the left and right fixtures of the device, pull the handle, place the sample between the two heat seals, step on the foot switch, and the sample is heat sealed. , while releasing the handle.
(4) After the set heat sealing time is reached, the heat sealing is completed. According to the selected test method, the left and right fixtures are automatically dragged to separate the samples to test the hot adhesion strength.
(5) The device automatically displays the test results.
6 , test results
In this test, method B was selected . A total of 15 samples were cut . The heat sealing pressure was 0.2 MPa and the heat sealing time was 1 s . Five different temperatures of 105 °C , 110 °C , 115 °C , 120 °C , and 125 °C were set. The hot tack strength of the three samples was tested at temperature . The hot tack strength test samples at 105 ℃ of 0.16N / 15mm, hot tack strength at 110 deg.] C to 1.51N / 15mm, hot tack strength at 115 deg.] C to 2.58N / 15mm, hot tack strength at 120 ℃ It is 1.38N/15mm . The hot tack strength at 125 °C is 0.79N/15mm , and the sample has shrinkage at 120 °C , so the heat sealing temperature of the sample should be controlled between 115 °C ~ 120 °C to ensure the package looks good and high. Hot tack strength.
7 , conclusion
