According to reports, since the second half of last year, yoghurt and its products have gradually become a hot spot for some domestic urban residents. In particular, after entering the autumn and the weather turned cold, yogurt and its products have become the most frequently intercepted by the Shanghai postal inspection port. No entry is allowed. Most of these “haitao” yogurts come from European countries such as France, the Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium.

The Shanghai Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau pointed out that “yogurt” is shipped from abroad to the mainland and usually takes a long time to transport, and the transportation process lacks supervision, and food quality cannot be guaranteed. More importantly, due to the risk of the spread of foot-and-mouth disease in dairy products, China's prohibition of carrying and mailing entries for animals and plants and its product regulations, all dairy products except milk powder, including milk, yogurt, butter and other animal-derived milk Dairy products are expressly prohibited from being carried and sent by post.

The Shanghai Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau predicted based on relevant data from last year that as the "Double 11" approached, the recent domestic residents "Hai Tao" yogurt may enter a peak period. Consumers should pay attention to the "cross-border sea scouring" and "domestic online shopping" applicable laws and regulations are different, do not purchase, post items with inspection and quarantine risks, avoid unnecessary economic losses.
