Problem 1: Turn the power switch to the ON position, but the display does not show anything.
Cause: This problem is usually a power problem. Check if the battery is installed correctly and check if the battery has power.
Handling: Install the battery correctly according to the instructions or replace the battery.
Question 2: The measured value in the memory disappears.
Cause: This problem is generally caused by turning off the power of the instrument in the middle of measuring a batch of samples. After the power of the instrument is turned off, the data in the memory will be deleted.
Handling: When measuring a batch of samples, do not turn off the power in the middle. If the instrument has a built-in data collector, use the data acquisition software to download the previous data.
Question 3: The reading changes when measuring the same position of the same blade.
This problem usually occurs for the following reasons:
1. There are water droplets or stains near the emission window or receiving window of the measuring head.
Handling: Clean the launch and receive windows with a clean, dry, soft cloth.
2. The position of the sample blade is not placed correctly;
Disposal: According to the instructions, place the measurement position of the sample between the center line of the measuring head and completely cover the receiving window.
3. Excessive veins in the sample leaves
Treatment: Too many veins in the sample leaves will affect the reading. It is recommended that when processing such samples, the sample is subjected to multiple measurements and averaged as the sample reading.
