【chemical composition】

Herba Asarum contains 2.5% volatile oil. Its main components are methyl eugenol, astragaloside, asarone, and elemene. It also contains carvone, acetoin, terpenes, terpenes, and eugenol. Dl-demethylcoclaurine (hignamine), pungent substance phenoxylamine, and (2E,4E,8Z,10E)-N-isobutyl-2, 4,8,10- Dodecane tetraamide and so on. Huaxen's whole plant contains 2.6% volatile oil. The main components of the oil are α-thujene, myrcene, γ-terpineol, and elemene. It also contains α-terpineol, Astragaloside, methyl eugenol, myristicin, linalool, asarone, limonene and so on. Hua Xixin also contains n-pentadecane, sitosterol, campesterol, stigmasterol, sesamoid and N-isobutyl tetracetoamide. Seoul Asarum contains 1% volatile oil. The main component of the oil is caravatropin. It contains α- or β-pinene, olein (1,8-cinede), methyl eugenol, safrole, and alpha-methoxy. Radix Scutellariae Ether, Elemone, Asaron et al.

Physical and chemical identification

1. Take 1g of the product powder, add ether 5ml and leaching for 15 minutes after shaking. Filter and take 1ml of the filtrate into the evaporating dish. Add 1% vanillin concentrated sulfuric acid reagent after the ether is volatilized. The solution changes from light brown to light brown. Brown purple (check volatile oil).

2. Thin layer chromatography: Take 1ml of the volatile oil obtained by steam distillation of the product, and add 10ml of ethanol to dissolve it as the test solution. Another methyl eugenol was dissolved with ethanol as a reference solution. The above solution was spotted on the same silica gel G thin plate, benzene:ethyl acetate (95:5) was developed with a pitch of 17.3 cm. Take it to dry, spray 1% vanillin concentrated sulfuric acid reagent color, in the corresponding position of the chromatogram of the test sample and the reference substance chromatography, the same color spots.

【Pharmacological effects】

1. Antipyretic and analgesic effects: Asarum volatile oil gavage has antipyretic effects on rabbit febrile models caused by warm stimuli, typhoid bacterins and tetrahydro-beta-naphthylamine. And can make the animal normal body temperature below normal. Aspergillus essential oil 0.5ml/kg gavage rabbits, rabbits have analgesic effect caused by electrical stimulation of pulp nerves, analgesic intensity and antipyrine 0.5g/kg. Asarum decoction also has analgesic effect on gavage in mice;

2. Effects on the cardiovascular system: Asarum volatile oil can significantly increase coronary flow in isolated hearts of guinea pigs, and can reduce blood pressure, while decoction can boost pressure;

3. Effects on the respiratory system: Asarum volatile oil has a significant relaxation effect on histamine or acetylcholine-induced tracheal smooth muscle, and its anti-histamine effect is stronger than anti-acetylcholine. Methyl eugenol in volatile oil of Asarum resin has obvious relaxing effect on isolated trachea in guinea pigs. In addition, the product has anti-inflammatory, immune suppression, local Anesthesia and other effects.
