Principle and classification of activated carbon filter

The activated carbon filter element is formed by adding activated carbon particles to a binder and heating and sintering. The innermost layer of the filter element is a polypropylene skeleton to strengthen the compressive strength of the filter element. The skeleton is covered with two layers of polypropylene microfiber mat, which can intercept the liquid through the carbon core to bring out particles larger than 10 microns. The carbon core outer layer is wrapped with two layers of polypropylene microfiber mat, which can intercept particles larger than 10-20 microns in the liquid, so that the filter element has the dual functions of filtration and purification. The outermost layer is a white plastic mesh sleeve, which gives the filter element a complete appearance and a neat appearance. A soft rubber cap on both ends of the filter element is provided to provide a good seal after the filter element is installed in the filter cartridge. The finished activated carbon filter is tightly packed with a plastic film to prevent the filter from being contaminated and keeping the filter element fresh.
Activated carbon filtration, according to the adsorption characteristics of activated carbon, activated carbon is mainly used to remove pollutants in water, decolorize, filter and purify liquids, gases, and also used for air purification and waste gas recovery (such as gas benzene recovery in the chemical industry) Recycling and refining of precious metals (such as the absorption of gold). Activated carbon is mainly made of substances with high carbon content, such as wood, coal, nut shell, bone, petroleum residue and so on. The coconut shell is a commonly used raw material. Under the same conditions, the active quality and other characteristics of the coconut shell activity are good because of its large specific surface. Activated carbon is a multi-pore charcoal with a very rich pore structure and good adsorption characteristics. Its adsorption is made by physical and chemical absorption, and its appearance is black. In addition to the main charcoal, it contains a small amount of hydrogen, nitrogen and oxygen. Its structure is similar to a hexagon. Due to the irregular hexagonal structure, it is also determined to be multi-body and high surface area. The characteristics of each gram of activated carbon have a surface equivalent to 1000 square meters.
There are two main types of activated carbon filter products: compressed activated carbon filter and bulk activated carbon filter.
1. The compressed activated carbon filter core adopts coal adsorption activated carbon with high adsorption value and coconut shell activated carbon as filter material, and is sintered and formed by food-grade binder sintering. The compressed activated carbon filter is wrapped with a layer of non-woven fabric inside and outside, ensuring that the carbon core itself does not drop the carbon powder. The carbon core is provided with a soft nitrile rubber gasket at both ends to insert the carbon core into the filter cartridge. Has a good seal.
2. The bulk activated carbon filter element is filled into the special plastic casing, and the end cover is welded to the two end faces of the casing by welding equipment, and the two ends of the casing are respectively put into the non-woven fabric for filtering. The filter ensures that the carbon core does not drop toner and black water when in use. According to the customer's needs, the housing end cover can be made into different types of connectors. The interface modes are: flat pressure type, pipeline type (models are: 4042, 4044, 4046, etc.).
