Indonesia promulgates draft regulations on coffee bean quality requirements

The Indonesian Ministry of Agriculture issued the G/SPS/N/IDN/64 report on September 4 and issued a draft regulation on the quality requirements of coffee beans. The purpose of creating this draft regulation is to:

. Improve the competitiveness of coffee beans and multiply Indonesian coffee beans.

Support the development of the domestic coffee bean raw material industry. Provide consumers with qualified coffee beans. Increase the income of Indonesian coffee bean growers. Ensure the traceability of various deviations in the production and distribution of coffee beans. Effective for 24 months.
