Cultivation Techniques of Pleurotus ostreatus and Coprinus comatus in Greenhouse

Pleurotus ostreatus and Coprinus comatus belong to different temperature types of edible fungi. Both of them have similarities in the cultivation of edible fungi, but also have differences in cultivation seasons. The author makes reasonable arrangements according to the different requirements and cultivation characteristics of the climate, temperature, etc. Cultivation time, without additional production equipment and investment, realized the annual cultivation of the two in a single greenhouse, reducing production costs, increasing the utilization rate of production equipment and facilities and the production efficiency per unit area.

Cultivation mode

The first type of annual cultivation mode Generally, Pleurotus ostreatus is cultivated from early mid-August to early October, and fruiting bags are made from late August to late October, and fruiting from late September to March of the following year; Coprinus comatus is from November to November. Cultivated seeds are prepared in December, mushroom bags are made from December to February of the following year, and mushrooms are produced from early April to the end of May.

The second type of annual cultivation mode. Generally, the cultivated species of Coprinus comatus are prepared from mid-to-late July to early August, and fruiting bags are made from mid-to-late August to early September, and fruiting from early October to late November; Pleurotus ostreatus in mid-September Cultivated seeds are prepared from late October to late October, mushroom bags are made from late October to late November, and mushrooms are fruited from late November to May of the following year.

Variety selection

In the first cultivation mode of Pleurotus ostreatus, Pleurotus ostreatus selects varieties with good quality, neat fruiting, fast tide, and high yield. The recommended varieties in Henan are Xinke 106 and Xinke 107. These two varieties have high yields and are transformed by cultivation biology. The rate is above 120%. In the second cultivation mode, Pleurotus ostreatus selects varieties with low temperature tolerance, fast fruiting, disease resistance, high yield, and a biological transformation rate of more than 100%, such as Xinke 108 and Xinke 109.

Coprinus comatus selects varieties with neat fruiting, fast tide, excellent variety, high yield, and biological transformation rate above 100%. Xinke 40 and Xinke 41 are recommended in Henan.

Cultivation Techniques

Pleurotus ostreatus is cultivated with fermented materials. The formula is 94% corn cob, 1.5% urea, 2.5% lime, 2% calcium magnesium phosphate fertilizer, and 65% to 70% water content of the material. Use a low-pressure polyethylene plastic bag with a width of 26 cm, a length of 55 cm, and a thickness of 0.0015 cm, with one end sealed. The bag is packed with 4 layers of bacteria and 3 layers of materials, and the packed bag weighs about 4.5 kg. Under the condition of temperature 22℃~25℃, cultured in the dark for about 30 days, the hyphae will grow up and the bag can be used for fruiting management. Requirements for the fruiting environment: the temperature is 5℃~15℃, the relative humidity of the air in the fruiting place is 85%~90%, the carbon dioxide concentration in the fruiting environment is maintained below 1200 mg/L, and there is enough scattered light. When the fruit body cap grows to about 5 cm in diameter, it is about to unfold, but the edges are tightened, the color gradually changes from dark to light, white hairs begin to appear in the concave part, and the spores are harvested before they are ejected.

Coprinus comatus is cultivated with fermented materials. The formula is 91% corn cob, 5% bran, 1% urea, 2% lime, 1% calcium-magnesium-phosphate fertilizer, and the material has a moisture content of 65% to 70%. Choose a low-pressure polyethylene plastic bag with a width of 26 cm, a length of 55 cm, and a thickness of 0.0015 cm, with one end sealed. The packed bag weighs about 4.5 kg. Under the condition of 22℃~25℃, cultivate in the dark for about 30 days, the mycelium will grow up and the bag will be able to enter the fruiting management. Fruiting management: cover 2~3cm thick sandy loam soil, temperature control at 15℃~20℃, relative humidity of the air at the fruiting site 85%~90%, and the carbon dioxide concentration in the fruiting environment should be maintained below 1200mg/L, and sufficient The scattered light of Coprinus comatus is harvested when the ring of the fruit body of Coprinus comatus is not loosened.
